You can press any key to wake up the device, press again to display the PIN log-in, and then use the number keys to enter your PIN it’s not as easy as using Touch ID on the Home button, but it works. Ideally, I sacaficed a little what BBEdit offers to reach parity between my Mac and my iPad.
